What’s in the Growth Lab?
Not only does the Growth Lab exist online; its physical headquarters exist in the lobby area of Kid’s Konnection. We have tried to duplicate what is available in both areas (the physical lab and the web lab) so that we can supplement families through both venues to the fullest extent of availability.
In the physical Growth Lab, you will find:
The Listening Station
At our listening station, you can listen to some of the songs that we sing during our service time. Our hope is that the listening station will help you in picking out which worship music you want to fill your house with.
Take Away Cards and Order Forms
At the listening station and on the tables you will find cards with specific resource information on them. These cards are free to take with you; they provide information about the resource so that you can go to the store equipped with a reference of what you are looking for. Also, if you would like to order your resource through the Vines Bookstore (the Christ Community Church Bookstore), order forms are available in the Growth Lab to do so.
Supplemental Literature References
Not everybody is a “reader”; that’s okay. For those of you who are, we have provided some supplemental literature for your review. All the books that we put in the Growth Lab are Kid’s Konnection approved. We feel that books can be great tools to educate and engage every member of the family.
Supplemental Supplies for Spiritual Development
Some of the resources in the Growth Lab are for display purposes only; there are some though, that can be taken with you for immediate supplementation. We have devotionals, small binders (great for keeping and organizing KK handouts), 4-color pens to aid in Bible study time, and bookmarks explaining the 4-color Bible study method. In addition to these supplies, we also stock the Growth Lab with Project Beyond banks to help establish and develop good financial stewardship practices.
