One or two times a month those who serve on this team prepare the bread and juice in advance and clean up in the worship center after communion in worship services. This does not involve serving communion in the services. Contact: Aaron Wooten at 353-1159, x211 / aaronw@cccgreeley.org.
LIBRARY TEAM:
The Library Team works together to oversee and attend to a variety of details related to the Christ Community Library, located on the mezzanine level of the south lobby on the 15th Street campus. The majority of the tasks involved can be done at any time during the week, with several able to be done from home. We are also seeking people who would assist in checking materials in and out before/after services. If you have computer and data entry skills, we are in the process of computerizing the Library's inventory, and would welcome involvement in this area as well. OFFICE MINISTRY SUPPORT TEAM:
If you are available to come in to the church office and assist our administrative assistants with projects on a regular or on-call basis, we'd love to have you join our team. Examples of projects would be, but not be limited to: copying, booklet/brochure preparation, data entry, word processing, material distribution. Other, more specialized, projects can be discussed based on interest, availability, and skill set. We love our office volunteers, and are willing to work with you based on your schedule, time availability and interest. Some projects can even be done in the evening or at home. CREATION CARE TEAM:
The Creation Care Team collects church recycling and helps our church family to "think green". Each Creation Care teammate contributes about 20-30 minutes once or twice a month for about 30-45 minutes. It collects recycle bins; sorts and properly disposes of recycling. People 12 or older can help, and families and buddies are encouraged to join. It's a great ministry to share Christ's compassion and love in tangible ways! SECURITY TEAM:
The Security Team provides security during all weekend services and church-wide special events. The goal is to provide a safe environment for each person to experience community, worship and the ministry of God's Word. And, in the unlikely event of an altercation or heightened alert, the members of this team provide leadership and direction in attending to a variety of details. A number of law enforcement professionals in our church family are a part of this team, but it is not a requirement that members be employed in this field.
