"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
--Acts 1:8

Members from the Christ Community family who have been called by God to serve people outside of the local community on a long-term basis are called "Missionary Servants."  Many attended Christ Community for years, but now are following God's call on their lives for His Kingdom purposes.

Wherever Missionary Servants are located in the world, they encourage and support nationals in-country to help meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs in their communities.

What can I do as an individual, family, or group?
As you can imagine, missionaries serving in a foreign country away from friends and family need ongoing encouragement.  Here are a few ways you can encourage those on the missionary field.

n Take the opportunity to learn about where the Missionary Servants are serving by clicking on the map.

n Request electronic newsletters and updates from these missionaries by emailing michelleb@cccgreeley.org, and then pray for the missionary requests on a regular basis.

n Identify if there is a Missionary Servant you feel led to learn more about.  Find out more about the country where they are located and the spiritual climate in which they serve.

n Support their home visits to the Greeley area by providing a car or other resources for their short stay here.

Why does Christ Community support Missionary Servants?
We desire to come alongside our Missionary Servants to:

n Establish an environment that affirms extended serving, envisions our congregation, and confirms callings into ministry

n Provide resources and experiences to improve their effectiveness in the field

n Provide tangible assistance and support to missionary servants and their families
