God says, "I know what I'm doing.  I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

                                                        -- Jeremiah 29:11, The Message

These resources are designed to provide encouragement and support in the journey of navigating career transitions, including the journey of unemployment and finding a job that is both fulfilling and sufficient to provide for your financial needs.

These resources, coupled with involvement in community and times alone with God, we hope will be used by Him to bless you and empower you toward spiritual health as you grow closer to Him through this season of life.

Upcoming Gatherings and Conversations ...

As we continue to support your job search and career transition efforts, we thought it might be a good idea to gather and engage in dialog. The goal would be to reflect on the last month or so, talking about what is going on with you, discuss topics you have questions about, and celebrate the steps you have made. We will meet on Thursday March 11th at 6:30pm in Room 309 on the 15th Street Campus.

The Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado will be Hosting Entrepreneurial Challenge:  Lots of people are talking about the importance of stimulating business growth in northern Colorado, and the Monfort College of Business is doing something about it. The college is sponsoring the Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge, designed to help people around the community kick-start their businesses. The day-long event on Thursday, March 25, will include workshops facilitated by regional experts, networking opportunities and business plan presentations by entrepreneurs competing for $18,000 in cash prizes they will use to help them develop their businesses. Finalists will be chosen for two different categories: Start Up Ventures and Stage Two Growth. For more information, visit http://www.mcb-echallenge.com.

Shattered Dreams: God's Unexpected Pathway to Joy, by Larry Crabb.

If God loves me, why is life so painful?   The truth is, heartache happens. Hopes are dashed. But they're not mere accidents of fate---they're opportunities for the Spirit to awaken us to even higher visions.   Larry Crabb's best-selling guide and 8-session workbook will help you move beyond pain and disappointment to where you'll encounter God amidst loss and disappointment to embrace the joy of Christ.

Worship:  Certainly one of the hardest, and most counter-intuitive things to do when we're seeking a job and feel like our leads are exhausted is to praise God.   And yet that's exactly what He longs for us to do.  If you're struggling, you're not alone.  If you're not a part of a local church family in the Greeley area, we invite you to join us on the weekend for one of our worship services.   But we also invite you to close your eyes, turn up the audio on your computer, and connect with God right now, right where you are.   He loves you, and He longs to  meet you there ...
