The pastoral team at Christ Community is available to provide support and services for church members, attendees and the community. Not every pastor may be available at any given time however, and in many cases we have excellent programs, services and ministries in place to best meet your needs. Below are a list of some of the most common requests of our pastoral teams. Please learn more about each area and let us know how we may best serve you!
At Christ Community we believe that every child is precious to God, and that God longs to pour out His blessing upon them. One of the ways this is imparted is through the speaking of a blessing over a child. We encourage parents to regularly do this. In addition, we as a church set aside two times every year to bless children in our worship services, prayerfully entrusting them to the Lord and seeking God’s favor on their lives. Questions? For the date of the next Child Blessing, or for additional information, please contact Britany Alred at firstname.lastname@example.org or 970.475.1964.
Baptism is a celebration at Christ Community! It is a special event for those being baptized and for our entire church family. Baptism is a God-given way to publicly declare our dependence on Christ alone for our salvation. It’s not a way to become saved, but rather a beautiful symbol of the salvation we already have; an outward expression of the inward commitment a believer has made to Jesus Christ. It is not only for the, “spiritually mature.” It is also not a decision someone else can make for you. Baptisms are offered three times each year.
We are committed to empowering couples to experience successful, Christ-centered marriages and a lifetime of love.
