We believe that God uses prayer to release His power into our lives and our circumstances. We want prayer to be part of the lifestyle of every believer. We desire to provide a number of opportunities for people to receive prayer as well as to be trained in prayer.

We desire to continually be praying for one another in our church body as well as for those in need of any kind of prayer. If you have a prayer request for yourself or someone you know, please fill out a contact card during a worship service or click here to send us your prayer request online. We have a team of people who love to pray for your needs.

This ministry offers prayer for those who would like to receive personal prayer for either physical healing or to have a listening prayer session. Prayer teams are available every Sunday afternoon, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Community Room at the 15th Street campus. It does not require signing up or making an appointment. Come anytime during those two hours. The Prayer Experience offers the opportunity for experiencing more of the Spirit through prayer. If you have any questions, please contact Cindy Chavez, Director of Pastoral Care at

This ministry is Christ Community’s version of the Sozo prayer ministry. Sozo is the Greek word for “saved, healed, delivered and made whole.” It is a Holy Spirit-led prayer experience, which helps identify places in your life that need healing so that you can experience a more intimate relationship with the Lord and be free to walk in all He’s called you to be. Please contact the Church Office at 970-353-1159 to set up an appointment.

*If you have a desire to be trained in or serve on one of the soaking prayer or Sozo prayer teams, please contact Cindy Chavez at or call 970-353-1159.

These prayer teams are available at all campuses after each weekend worship service. For more information on how to get involved, please contact Cindy Chavez at

If you are planning to have a medical procedure or surgery, we have a team who will contact you the day before the surgery or procedure to pray with you. This team will also support those who find themselves homebound or living in a long-term medical facility. Please contact the Church Office at 970-353-1159 if you know of someone who could benefit from a regular visit.

For emergency medical needs, we utilize a telephone prayer chain. There is prayer coverage for both day and evening emergency situations. Please call the Church Office at 970-353-1159 if you have an emergency medical prayer need.
