Tirus and Winnie have been working in the mission field mobilizing and training missionaries to both open and restricted access communities in East Africa and the horn of Africa regions for over 20 years.

Outreach to different communities is done using the Community Health Evangelism (C.H.E.) strategy which involves Evangelism with integrated discipleship where new believers are taught on both spiritual and physical topics to improve their lives.  Tirus and Winnie’s passion is to follow God’s call on their lives targeting to continually transform communities using the integral mission model.

   Facts about Their Region

    • Three countries in the region (Kenya, Ethiopia, and Rwanda) are known to produce the best coffee in the world.
    • More than 150 different languages are spoken.
    • About one third of the population live in poverty living on less than USD 2 per day.
    • Approximately 40% of the region’s population is below the age of 18.

   Prayer Requests

    • Tirus & Winnie’s two sons are going to trade school and to college. As the college selection process carries on please pray for success regarding this. Pray for schools where they will thrive where they will use their talents.
    • Tirus & Winnie need to develop new teams for three countries within the East Africa region. Please pray for success regarding this.
    • Please pray for safety for their teams as they move round the region in ministry.
    • They have developed materials to train pastors on different skills including Bible exposition, agriculture, food storage, value addition, and others. They have pastors interested in the course but are unable to attend the classes due to financial challenges. Please pray for the success of this program to reach many church leaders.
    • They are experiencing rapid growth in ministry within the region with more people from different backgrounds coming to know Jesus, therefore, they need to develop more outreach and discipleship teams across the region to meet this need.
