Daniel & Kata Tillotson
Budapest City Team | Hungary
Daniel has been coming to Budapest since 2014 on short-term English Camp mission trips. God used these few weeks each year to begin preparing Daniel’s heart for the mission field. Four years later, after graduating with a degree in Music Business, Daniel was invited to serve long-term. Daniel has been able to use his knowledge in music and technology to serve the Budapest City Team in worship ministry, event planning and sound engineering.
During this time, Kata and Daniel met on their church’s worship team. They were married in 2023 and after a year of discussion, prayer, and seeking God’s will, Kata left her job as a special needs educator and speech language pathologist, to join Daniel on the mission field to use her gifting, experience and knowledge, to bless vulnerable families, with expert care and the truth of the gospel.

Prayer Requests
- Please pray for Daniel and Kata as they step into their new shared role as co-worship pastors at Agora Church. Ask God to guide them with wisdom as they lead together and help shape the future of the church’s worship ministry with love and vision. Pray also for the founding pastor as he steps down after 15 years of faithful service, and for discernment, patience, and humility for the incoming pastor—a well-known worship leader, songwriter, and Christian recording artist in Hungary—as he transitions into leadership.
- Please pray for Kata as she steps out in faith to begin a ministry reaching the marginalized and often overlooked special needs community in Budapest with the hope of the Gospel. Ask God to bring alongside her other believers who share this passion, to provide volunteers, and to supply the resources needed—including creating or translating materials. Pray also that the hearts of special needs children and families would be open to Jesus and His love.
- Please pray for wisdom, growth, and continual sanctification as Daniel and Kata balance their ministry roles, and that their marriage would be a clear and compelling reflection of Christ’s love and sacrifice for His bride.
