A Ministry to Single Mothers

Where single mothers are encouraged & refreshed.

Join us at ForHER every Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:45 pm in the Fireside Room at Christ Community! On-site childcare is provided for children ages kindergarten-6th grade. (Please email Patti for childcare solutions for children ages birth-pre-k.)

ForHER provides single mothers with a sense of belonging and spiritual nourishment. Through weekly gatherings and special events, we create a nurturing environment where they can deepen their faith and find hope in God’s love. We walk alongside single mothers, offering both practical assistance and compassionate support, ensuring they feel valued and cherished in our faith community. What to expect during ForHER.



Delicious, homemade dinner.



Monthly guest speakers with helpful teachings.

Fun and supportive community with other single mothers.

On-site childcare for children ages kindergarten through 6th grade.

Our mothers include, but are not limited to:



Mothers of all ages and backgrounds.



Mothers who are parenting alone.



Divorced/separated mothers.



Women who have children outside of marriage.



Teen mothers.



Widows.



Grandmothers who are parenting alone.



Single women who have custodial care.



Women caring for a foster or adopted child.



A single woman expecting a baby.



Women whose husbands are on extended military deployment.



Women whose husbands are incarcerated.



Documented/undocumented mothers whose husbands are in a foreign country, deported, or cannot immigrate.



Women with children as a result of sex trafficking, rape, or prostitution.

Parenting Resources.

Although rewarding, parenting is one of the most difficult endeavors you’ll ever take on, especially if you’re raising children alone. Our children and student ministries teams have put together some resources based on the age of your child, to help you on your parenting journey.
