Missional Cohort

Zoë's Café 715 10th Street, Greeley, CO, United States

The reality is, 70% of our community may never step foot inside a church, but they still need Jesus. So how can we reach and connect with them more effectively? The Missional Cohort, an 8-month training for those passionate about expanding the Kingdom in our community, addresses this question. The Missional Cohort meets every Wednesday starting September 11th from 6-8 pm at Zoë's Café. Together, we'll learn how to make a meaningful impact in our community and relationships. Don't miss this opportunity to grow and serve alongside like-minded individuals!  Click the link below to register. For questions, please reach out to angellab@cccgreeley.org.

Foster Care for Refugees Info Night

Zoë's Café 715 10th Street, Greeley, CO, United States

Lutheran Family Services-Rocky Mountains (LFSRM) looks forward to meeting with you at Zoë's Café on Thursday, February 6th or Monday, February 10th from 6:30-8 pm for informational sessions about becoming a foster parent and changing the life of a child. A focus of the Fort Collins office is recruiting foster families for unaccompanied refugee minors, often from Central and South America. Unaccompanied refugee minors are youth who have been resettled into the U.S. without a parent or relative to care for them. There is a significant need for families who are open and willing to care for teenage youth. Members from the long-term foster care team will be discussing the process of foster care, from the experience of unaccompanied youth to the roles and responsibilities of a foster parent. Participants should expect to learn about the licensing and training process to become a certified foster parent in Colorado. Participants should also expect to learn of the services available to the families and the youth while being a part of the long-term, URM, and domestic foster care programs. No need to register, simply show up.  For more information, please reach out to Pastor Nate at nathand@cccgreeley.org.

Each week, we'll share experiences and learn from each other in a supportive community. For questions, please reach out to Pastor Stetson at stetsonb@cccgreeley.org.
