Now is the perfect time to join a group where you can be real and find belonging. Groups are one of the best ways to nurture relationships within the church family, and we know that finding the right group can be challenging. Since one size doesn’t fit all, we offer a variety of group types to suit your needs.

DivorceCare for Men
DivorceCare is a caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. $25 fee for materials (scholarships available).
Family Support Group
We seek to bring hope, help, and healing to families of loved ones struggling with substance abuse and other destructive behaviors by providing resources, support, education, advocacy, and healing connections with compassion, understanding, and love. We utilize faith-based materials to guide out time together.
ForHER Single Mom’s Group
ForHER welcomes moms who parent alone, including those of all ages and backgrounds, to gather, network, develop meaningful friendships, and grow. Through attending meetings and building relationships, single moms and their children will find support for their practical, relational, personal, and spiritual needs. We will have dinner together, group discussion, and enter a place of hope, encouragement, and rest. Childcare care financial assistance available. Childcare Available/Kids Welcome
Moms with Infants
This group provides support and fellowship to encourage mothers with infants in their walk with the Lord during the difficult season of raising an infant(s). Childcare not provided, but infants ages 1 and younger are welcome to attend. Childcare scholarships available if needed for older children.

Widow’s Group (Leader: ErinStacy Ritsema)
We meet two times per month–once for lunch and once for coffee. Guest speakers and entertainment are regular parts of our times together. Transportation assistance if needed may be possible–contact ErinStacy for more info. This group is for widows of all ages. Childcare not provided. The weeks we have lunch together, we meet from 12 noon-2 pm at Christ Community. The weeks we have coffee together, we meet from 10 am-12 noon at Christ Community.
Young Married Couples Group (Leaders: Ken and Jamie Strzepek)
A Bible study and mentoring group providing biblical foundation for marriage. Principles are drawn from Marriage Plus Intl. which teaches couples to be a team in ministry. Leaders of group have been teaching and mentoring young couples locally and internationally for 30 years. This group is for young marrieds in their 20s and 30s who have been married 1 week to 6 years. Dinner provided every week. Childcare not provided.
